About Us/Contact Info
We can all use a little (or a LOT) more joy in our lives, right? There are tons of materials and resources out there on the internet, in seminars, books and videos, etc. that teach us in many ways how to live happier, more productive and more fulfilled lives. We have to try to balance the many demands and stressful circumstances assailing us from every side and make the decisions that will allow us to be our best selves and keep our highest visions alive.
I am always looking for new ideas for creating more joy and good things for my life, in spite of the occasional upsets, and sometimes painful and trying experiences in our human existence. On this website I am endeavoring to share the ideas that I have found and continue to uncover that help me to keep my focus on the most positive thoughts and actions, and to realize that there are always greater possibilities unfolding for all of us.
As each of us is a unique individual there will be different things that create joy for every person. I would enjoy hearing your responses to this website and also your ideas on how to create a happy and joyful life.
I have chosen the internet nickname “Daylily” because I love the beautiful bright colors of all the varieties of these flowers; they are used in so many ways to brighten up the landscapes in flower beds and along roadways. I have also read that these flowers are “drought resistant, and disease and insect free”. That is somewhat of a symbolic image that I would like to use for my own life. Insects could be interpreted as all those pesky things that might be annoying or unpleasant. I have nothing personally against the little creatures, either literally or symbolically, as everything has its place in the ecology of the planet and our lives. I just want to avoid being bothered and annoyed by them.
Drop me a line by e-mail if you have any comments. I would love to hear from you.

Charles Du Bos: Joy is but the sign that creative emotion is fulfilling its purpose.
Aristotle: We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
Vivian Green: Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain.
Sandra Day O'Connor: We don't accomplish anything in this world alone... and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something.
Albert Einstein: There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.
Montaigne: The pleasantest things in the world are pleasant thoughts: and the great art of life is to have as many of them as possible.
Tom Blandi: Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force.
